In putting her info in Ancestry.Com it did tell me she is in the Revised Cambridge Reference Sequence.

I want to know my African ancestry and where my slave ancestors were abducted from.
I took African American history class and learned most of the slaves originated from Benin,Angola,Ghana,and Senegal.I know my people can't be Senegalese because we're too short.People from Senegal are tall.So I know I can rule out Senegal.

How much are DNA tests?Are they really expensive?

I have always been interested in taking an ancestry test. I know that they can usually trace back the maternal lineage. Well, here's my problem. My mother's side of the family is Irish and German, a heritage that's not particularly interesting in my opinion. However, my father's side is much more interesting: French and Romanian Gypsy. My father's grandmother was a full-blooded Gypsy. I know that they originate from India and crossed much of the Eurasian continent over 1,000 years ago. It would be so incredible if I share similar DNA to Indians. However, can this be done?
