It assumes that our British National Party wants “Ben” deported.

Your guess is incorrect.
You have contradicted yourself. Could you decide what you are talking about? You wrote:
“We could still have low infant mortality rates, votes for women, higher education for ordinary folk and not have foreign people living here”
“We’re not talking about foreign people living here “

I agree, I have a right not to want certain people in this country and you have a right not to agree with me, where’s the problem then.

We were colonised by the Normans but the reason I said Anglo Saxon is because England came into being at that time, really.

@theporksicle ………..There are no doubt people of middle-eastern descent who grew up in England and integrated with the culture, while respecting their heritage (or consider themselves 100% British and have renounced their heritage). I say they all have a right to accept Britain as THEIR country, as they have spent time here and all have/will likely go on to contribute(d) to society here.

@theporksicle Also I know white, English-speaking (unaccented) people who grew up in Spain, and who’s family live in Spain. They go to higher education here, and their family probably moved their from England only a generation or so ago, but they still grew up in a Spanish culture. I also know a Zimbabwean Muslim of mixed race descent, who grew up in Zimbabwe and is a conservative and very patriotic about this country…………………..

@theporksicle Using skin colour as a way to code people, as you put it, is basically just stereotyping. We all do it in different ways, but it shouldn’t be ENCOURAGED to treat people based on your preconceived notions of them. Imagine what it would be like to have women clutch their purses every time you enter a lift with them, or everyone get uncomfortable when you get onto public transport with a rucksack.

@theporksicle also you consider being white and of anglo-saxon descent to be important parts of being British, but this could easily be applied to a lot of places in Europe, as that is where the Angles, Saxons and jutes came from. There MUST be something more unique that we as a nation can identify with than where their family lived 1000 years ago! Also you’re forgetting we got colonized by the Normans after the Anglo-Saxons…

@theporksicle You’ve got a right not to want certain people in this country, just as everyone else has a right to be disgusted by your far-right racial purity views. You put forward your point eloquently, but I don’t see why skin colour should be an important part of what makes someone British! This viewpoint comes from looking back too much and idealising the past as a perfect Britain, just because we’ve got some problems to deal with, and also just as a rationalization for fear of the ‘other’

Why is foreign in speech marx (yes intended, not a spelling mistake)? Let me guess, in your worldview there are no foreigners?
We’re not talking about foreign people living here we’re talking about foreign people considering themselves British. If I move to France because I can earn that doesn’t make me a Frenchman.

I did answer your question, you asked me what I thought marked them out as different and I said a different heritage.
Skin colour is simply a useful way to code people, so if someone speaks English and is White you can assume they are part of the culture. Its not a perfect test but then none are.

Britain today would not exist without “foreign” people.
Without soldiers and supplies from the Empire, Britain would not have survived in WW2.
Without immigrants in the 1950s and 1960s the infrastructure would have collapsed.

It is a ponzi scheme, any welfare program that is, basically as more and more people are old, as they live long (courtesy of more widely available healthcare) we can’t support them. Also you don’t get out what you put in, some get more and many get less so its not fair on the latter.
State pensions should exist but you should be able to opt out. Likewise with the NHS.

How does improving people’s health and keeping old people out of poverty contribute to the decline of Britain?

@theporksicle Multiculturalism? Yes. Racism? No. And yet by failing to answer my question, it is clear that you identify someone as part of the British culture not by integration into British society. But by the colour of their skin. As I’ve said before, culture does not entail a certain appearance. More and more British people are increasingly atheist, does this mean they’re nor British because they don’t conform to the “national” heritage of Christianity? Times evolve, so should you.

No I’m not trying to justify my attitudes one way or another, I’m just asking if you agree they have the right to exist?
They are different because their heritage is different.
And I’ll ask again, do you believe we have the right not to agree with multiculturalism?

@theporksicle You identify “culture” with “race”. If you see an Indian person walking down the street, you seem to assume that they must be of a completely different culture, as if their DNA is entwined with speaking Gujurati, being a Hindu and only speaking to other like-minded people. Yet why is someone who is born in Britain, goes to a British school, university, has British friends, speaks English, any different to anyone white?

Just for the record I’d not recommend people identify with trashy people of their own race either.
Not wanting to identify with people does not mean you hate them, I don’t identify with emos but have nothing against them etc

As far as I know the British people, as was in the 1940s anyway, were never consulted about immigration directly? So people have to accept the conditions the state has imposed upon us?

I’m pretty sure I don’t have a drop of Black or Asian blood in me, well it depends on what you classify as Black or Asian since, as far as I know, every European, with the exception of Basques, has some measure of middle eastern heritage.
I didn’t say you had to, I said you had a right not to want certain people in this country- you’re saying everyone HAS to agree with multiculturalism are you?

@theporksicle Yes you can blame people, you fucking goon. The fact of the matter is you divide people on such an utterly basic premise like colour, and judge that they’re fundamentally different beyond their appearance. Why on Earth should a respectable white citizen identify themselves more with a benefit scrounging white piece of trash, over a respectable asian/black citizen? I can tell you now you are bound to have a percentage of asian or african blood in you too. Absolute cunt.
